About

TITLE's why:

"We question our relationship with media, the everyday objects that make up our lives, and how we perceive high fashion and its accessibility to all... not just the influencer elite. We also just like making cool sh*t with our friends."

more on how TITLE works...

Let's go over a quick breakdown on how exactly TITLE runs as a creative community. TITLE is a non-UC affiliated group that works together to create an artist focused magazine. Anyone you can think of that is needed to produce a magazine is a part of this community. TITLE's staff consists of photographers, stylists, graphic designers, artists, marketing and PR people, social media managers, writers, etc. To be a part of this organization, we all had to apply and show off some of our work to be placed onto specific teams. The specific teams consist of anywhere from 15-50 people working in a specific area for the magazine, such as photography or styling. TITLE staff includes people from all different backgrounds. People who are just starting out and want to get their foot in the door with gaining experience, all the way to people who have been doing this stuff for years and are seriously near professionals. One thing I find extremely cool is that there are often lead and secondary positions for a lot of the projects we work on. For example, I am a part of the photography team and work as a secondary photographer for two of the projects going into the zine. Being a secondary photographer means that I get to learn and be mentored by the lead photographers on these projects. In addition to these teams, we have a team of 11 of our brightest, most creative individuals who hold exec positions. Let's just say without them we would be nowhere. They make this whole thing run smoothly. Exec positions consist of our Editor-in-Chief, Braden Devine, and Creative Director, Meesh Strauss, both of which are the brains of this operation. The rest of the exec positions consist of titles including: Art Director/Pub editor, Social Media Director, Lead Executive Stylists, Copy Editor, Photo Editor, Project Manager, Motion Lead, and PR/Marketing Director.
